General Terms and Conditions

By ticking the box “I have read and agree to the General Terms and Conditions” in the registration form, the member confirms that he/she has read and accepts the General Terms and Conditions below of the Lënster Bibliotheik a.s.b.l..

The membership is valid for 12 months
Members can borrow 4 books per visit and person
The member is responsible for all his/her actions in the Lënster Bibliotheik a.s.b.l, as well as for any damage caused.
In the event of a borrowed medium not being returned or being damaged the Lënster Bibliotheik a.s.b.l. reserves the right to charge a compensation fee of, for the moment, 10 €.
By ticking the box “I have read and agree to the General Terms and Conditions” in the registration form, the member also agrees to that his/her data is being saved and used by the Lënster Bibliotheik a.s.b.l in its computer systems or the collection of statistics as mentioned in the “Privacy policy”. Such data will only be used by the library management and will not be passed to third parties.
The library user is entitled to check his/her records held by Lënster Bibliotheik a.s.b.l and to rectify them and or delete what do not conform with the law of 01.08.2018 which relates to the protection of personal data.
